Beach Lovers Water Activities
Beach lovers swimming at our Philippine Beach Resort: Free with the rental of our beach cottages. Day visitors are Php 100.00 per person, consumable. The area to the right of the resort is very sandy, rockier to the left. While there is no current to worry about, always swim with a partner. Beach Towels are available at the front desk.
Snorkeling: Enjoy a day of Snorkeling at our Philippine Beach Resort. Mask and Snorkeling gear rents for Php 150.00, Fins for Php 150.00, and Booties for Php 75.00. Inquire at the desk for the next Snorkeling Tours to Apo Island. There are several coral formations near our beach resort for you to explore. If you forget your underwater camera, they are available for purchase at the Resorts front desk.
Kayak: Our kayak is available to get our beach lovers off the beach and into the water. Rental is Php 500.00 a day or Php 100.00 per hour. Paddle to local reef around our Philippine Beach Resort for some private Snorkeling. Don't forget your underwater camera.
PADI Diving Courses: We offer PADI courses for every level of diver. We specialize in 1st time divers. Our PADI Discover Diving Package for beginners is Php 3,000.00. This one day PADI class includes all the diving gear you will need. Dive Team PADI instructor, Dive boat
PADI Fun Dives: Adventure dives to Apo Island Marine Sanctuaries, Dauin Marine sanctuaries, and other Diving spots are available at Monarch Sands Diving Resort. As diving is a big part of our beach resort. We offer several PADI Open water diving packages. Local Marine sanctuaries provide excellent diving adventures.
Fishing: Fish from the shore or from our pump boat. Reels, poles, and bait are available for rent at p100 per day. Pump boat rental in P1, 400.00 per day.
Boogie boards Tubbing: Float on the waves with one of our inner tubes or boogie boards. Rental is p25 per day.
Bangka Boat day trips: Explore the Philippines from the sea. See our Philippine Diving resort and Mountain View from a real Bangka boat. Pump boat rental is p1, 400.00 per day.
Sailing Philippine waters: Monarch Sands Diving resort offers local sailing trips. These trips are provided by local sail boat captains. Please check at the desk for availabilities and rates.

Beach Lovers Land Activities
Bird Watching at our Philippine Beach Resort: Not everyone is a beach lover. Our Philippine Resort is surrounded by lush tropical trees. The local area is home to hundreds of species of Philippine birds. Tours are available with professional guides to the Canaway Forest and the Montiquel Forest. Conservation Tours begin at Php 1, 500.00 per person.
Malatapay Market: Wednesday trip to the local market. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the once a week market in Malatapay. Transportation to and from, plus lunch upon return is Php 500.00 per person.
Beach Resort Badminton: Enjoy some exercise on the beach with a game of badminton. Rackets and birdies are available for rent at the front desk for Php 50.00 per day.
Hiking around the beach resort: Strike out on your own or take one of our local guides. Philippine Guides are Php 300.00 per day, backpack and water included.
Games at the beach resort: Frisbees, Beach Balls, Swimming Rings are available for purchase at the desk. Games, cards and book are also available at the front desk.
Horseback riding on the beach: The small but sturdy Philippine horses are available to ride at the beach resort. Half day guided rides are only Php 800.00. A days notice is required.
Beach lovers will enjoy our white sands, beach towels, hammock hung between 2 coconut trees, romantic walk in the moon light.
Beach Bon Fires: Enjoy our Philippine Beach Resort at night while sitting around a bonfire on the beach.
Badminton at our Philippine Diving resort doesn't require Scuba equipment, a dive boat or a PADI open water certificate. Just grab your beach towel rackets and challenge the Philippine staff to a pick up game.
Tennis: Another non diving resort activity. The Philippine city of Siaton has two tennis courts available for use. Please check with Monarch Sands Front Desk for details.
